National AI Office (NAIO)
AI Governance & Ethics Working Group Member
Shaping national-level guidance on responsible AI deployment, ethics frameworks, and governance standards for Malaysia.
Hafiz Zainudin bridges AI strategy and ethics, hands-on implementation in cloud and code, and real business value - grounded in the Malaysian context.
"Consulting at heart, coding in-hand."
I combine a commitment to responsible AI stewardship with hands-on experience founding tech ventures and developing cloud solutions. My background includes extensive work in software development and strategic technology planning, enabling me to connect high-level vision with practical execution for both emerging and established organizations.
As a veteran developer who was architecting complex, high-performance web systems long before the recent large language model wave, Hafiz designed Jampuk Intelligence's core document intelligence and agentic task execution engines - proving a mastery over unstructured data, complex vector representations, and secure infrastructure. Enterprise stability, in his practice, relies on clean code segregation, comprehensive unit testing, and rigorous API interface contract enforcement.
His work sits at the intersection of three worlds: national AI policy through the National AI Office, MTSFB, and Konsortium AI Negara; production engineering through Google Cloud partnerships and Jampuk's delivery work; and venture building across Malaysia's startup ecosystem. As a mentor, he is passionate about fostering innovation within the Malaysian tech community. Let's connect to discuss building impactful, future-ready solutions.
Hafiz contributes to Malaysia's AI governance discourse where standards, ethics frameworks, and policy are shaped - not just discussed.
